The Ambassador has been a Sukhumvit landmark since the 1970s and is almost a small town of its own: two wings with more than 700 rooms, an outdoor pool with a bar, gym and sauna, squash and padel courts, and restaurants from Chinese to Japanese. It stands at the quieter end of Soi 11, with the bars of Soi 11 and BTS Nana about five minutes away. Rooms in the Sky Wing are the more modern choice. Breakfast is extra.
